What we do

ITCFSAN is dedicated to create, promote and foster individual and organizational effectiveness by developing and offering an array of innovative and diverse programs in support of the stakeholder development, partnerships, and organizational enrichment. The trainings are broadly classified to focus on the following four major sections:

FBOs


Improve a healthy life-style of the communities, through intensive trainings and best laboratory practices on food regulations and quality.

Laboratories


These are a set of specialized workshops designed to provide the participants with laboratory training on fit-for-purpose methods for chemical hazards, proximate analysis, estimation of vitamins, minerals, etc.

Regulatory Staff


These are set of trainings designed to provide the participants with the knowledge required as per FSSAI recommended capacity building programmes

Consumers


These trainings are aimed at improving consumer contributions to safe and nutritious eating habits. The programs promote the Eat Right India initiative launched by FSSAI with the view to alleviate the population of informed individuals in the society as intended by FSSAI.

Comprehensive LONG-TERM sessions spread over 3-6 months period. In-depth knowledge on the topic with interactive learning period

Comprehensive and Hands-on training Programmes. Theoretical & Practical sessions

A Programme targeted towards MSME in collaboration with the Start-up India & MSME for Food & Nutrition Start-ups/MSMEs





Train the Trainer Programmes in collab with Corporates & Institutions. Can be custom-built or based on ITCFSAN program structure.

Industrial and food regulatory knowledge sessions to students at Food & Nutrition Institutions.

Powerful Short training 2-4 hours training sessions. Consumer Awareness, Skill development, regulatory expertise & Nutrition awareness programs.

Major training on offer at ITC-FSAN

Skill Development Training Programs Our aim is to Upgrade skills to international standards through significant industry involvement and develop necessary frameworks for standards, curriculum and quality assurance. In order to do so we are committed to provide the necessary faculty training standards, quality assurance, technology platforms and hands-on training facilities.
Digital library We provide Digital study material including text, still images, audio, video, digital documents, or other digital media formats or a library accessible through the internet for easy accessibility to resources.
On site Extension programs The on-site extension programs provide educational learning experiences to farmers, micro industry and consumer groups . They are a key tool in capacity building for these sectors on food safety and applied nutrition. On hold due to to COVID 19 restrictions
Entrepreneurship Development We aim to Promote entrepreneurship through education, training, applied research and institution building and Help existing MSMEs to improve their entrepreneurial competencies and capacity building.

Training on Food Laws and Regulations for Regulators

These are a set of trainings designed to provide the participants with the knowledge required as per FSSAI recommended Capacity Building programmes for Food Safety Regulators.

Course Objectives Course Duration, Target Audience & intake
The courses are designed by FSSAI to ensure uniformity of learning for all state and central food safety regulatory staff including - Food Safety Officers, Designated Officers and Adjudicating officers.

The courses are aimed to transfer knowledge from amongst the below:

• FSS Act, 2006 and other legal aspects
• Evolution of Food Safety and other related topics
• Regulatory Sampling
• FSMS and other topics
• FSS Regulations
• Adjudication procedures
Course durations be as specified by the relevant authority
