After bifurcation of the State of Andhra Pradesh no food testing laboratory for the state. the samples lifted by Food Safety Officers were sent to SFL, Hyderabad on MoU Basis. Regional Public Health Laboratory, Visakhapatnam has been taken up for the upgradation. Status of upgradation is under active consideration.
